Loraine Holmes perceived a space where a cosmopolitan and elegant style, sophisticated yet fun, could flourish. She also observed some changes taking place in Chilean society: a growing desire to stand out through authenticity, a revaluation of artisanal and quality work, and a greater interest in the world of fashion.

From there, her eponymous brand flourished, seeking to fill a gap in the market with simple yet stylish ready-to-wear creations. Combining a strong aesthetic sense with a style full of personality and contrasts, she cultivates a modern and creative femininity that fuses her Latin roots with an Italian heritage acquired through living in Europe.

The LH mission is simple:
I would like to persuade women to take small risks and embrace new creative experiences; to show that a special occasion is not necessary to feel fantastic, and that the elegant and classic concept no longer go hand in hand, giving way to a new style where elegance, modernity, freshness and fun can coexist harmoniously.

Through her collections, Loraine aims to empower women to radiate their inner beauty, feel confident in clothing that suits all body types, and demonstrate that fashion is, without a doubt, a state of mental freedom.

A close connection to art has been significant in the designer's life. Her sensitivity and constant pursuit of beauty form the core of the brand's creative universe. This is reflected in the way her workshop operates, where each piece is assembled like a work of art and every small detail is meticulously crafted, almost by hand.

Loraine's professional determination knows no bounds ever since a brief trip to Italy blossomed into a love affair with fashion. She decided to study at Istituto Marangoni in Milan and live there for five years, before completing an internship with Catalan designer Teresa Helbig in Barcelona. After graduating in 2014, she packed up the skills she had acquired in Europe and returned to her native Chile, where she founded her eponymous brand in 2015. With the expertise gained from her time in Italy and a globalized vision of fashion, her dream of becoming a successful and renowned designer in her country quickly became a reality, positioning her brand as one of the most highly regarded of her generation.
